What is Reiki?

 Reiki is a traditional Japanese art of spiritual healing.  It is natural, safe and gentle.  Clients have reported it to be effective in speeding up the recovery of many illnesses and injuries as well as providing stress-reduction, relaxation and a sense of general well-being.  It is always beneficial in some way, whether it affects you physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually or on all levels.  The energy provided in a reiki session goes where it is needed most.

The word “reiki” is comprised of two words, “rei” and “ki”.  “Rei” means  God / the universe / source and “ki” is energy.  You may be familiar with the word, “ki”, “qi” or “chi” as in qi gong or tai chi. 

The energy you receive during a reiki session does not originate from the practitioner, but is channeled from the source and through the practitioner to you. A practitioner can never become energetically drained due to performing a reiki session, as it is not their energy.  In fact, the more reiki a practitioner directs to their clients, the better they feel as well!  Some may consider this karmic or in line with the belief of doing unto others as you would have them do unto you.

A reiki session in-person has the same effect as distance reiki.  If possible, a practitioner lightly touches the client and the energy moves from their hands into the client’s body.  Very often the person performing reiki will have warm or even hot hands, but if the type of healing that is required is that of an anti-inflammatory nature for instance, their hands may become cool.  Rest assured, it is still directed life force energy.

Sometimes the client may even be aware of changes of the energy in the hands of the practitioner, such as a pulsing or a flowing feeling. 

Reiki at a distance is no different.  It has the same effect when applied by an attuned practitioner.  Very often practitioner’s hands become extremely warm within seconds of beginning a distance reiki session.

Some may consider this the same as the “laying on of hands” mentioned in the Bible. Jesus said we will do all these things and more.  It is a gift of the Holy Spirit available to all who accept it and have faith.  As you may recall, sometimes Jesus healed in the same way at a distance, as He did in person. 

 

What Will I Receive?

One distance reiki session from the comfort of your home. 

Any helpful information gained by the practitioner during the session will be shared with the client privately and will be held in the strictness confidence. 

You may provide a preferred time for the session if you wish, but it is not required. 

This service may only be provided to the person making the request, as I must have permission from the client directly. 

Purchasing this service allows me to provide reiki and identifies you as the client. 

Your reiki session will commence no later than 48 hours after your payment clears, unless you have requested a later date.

Each session will be provided on consecutive days for optimum effectiveness.

You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase this service.

 

What is the Science Behind Distance Reiki?

Reiki at a distance works in much the same way as a telepathic thought. If you’ve ever thought of someone and they called you shortly thereafter, you have experienced the same kind of process. Reiki does not “travel” through space as we know it, but transcends it. You may have seen scientific explanations of the folding of space for FTL (faster than light) space travel or to explain wormholes.  Reiki, and other “psychic” functions, operate on the same level, and therefore can also move beyond our current “time” as well.  (I suggest researching “tachyons” if this subject interests you.)

 

Should I Be Concerned About Anything?

You do not have to be concerned about any illnesses or dark energy spreading to the practitioner or vice versa.  The word channel is meant in the purest sense, and does not involve “channeling entities”, but instead is like channeling needed water to crops. The practitioner is the conduit, a vessel of God, directing the flow of energy. 

The energy is subtle, your body uses it as needed and it can never do harm. 

There is nothing you need to do except keep an open mind and accept the energy as needed. 

Some suggest drinking a little extra water shortly after the session as this helps to remove toxins from the body.  This is up to you and your health care professional.

 

What are My Responsibilities as a Reiki Client?

You accept all responsibility for your health and well-being.  Reiki does not take the place of diagnosis or treatment and is not a medical procedure.  Many have reported decreased recovery time of major illnesses when reiki is used in conjunction with prescribed medical treatments.  Any reiki is good, but most agree, the more you receive, the better you feel. 

During a session I may or may not perceive specific information from your body, mind, spirit or heart.  I may also feel general anomalies in your energetic body.  These may be indications of problems or of a healing process.  Any information I provide is not considered diagnosis or treatment, but will be provided to you so that you may address this with a health care provider of your choice, including psychological counseling. 

 

What Can You Tell Me About My Reiki Practitioner?

I have been trained and attuned in traditional Usui Reiki, which includes Distance Reiki. 

I am a natural empath.  I allow myself to be open to your emotional state during a reiki session and may at times feel what you are going through.  If there is any information I receive that may be helpful to your healing, progression or ascension process, I will provide it to you.  This is not harmful to me, as any issues you are having that resonate with me, allow me to progress in my own healing process. 

I am also a natural psychic and instructor, trained in the military form of remote viewing.  Although I will not be using the specific RV skill during a reiki session, training has provided clarity outside of my remote viewing sessions.  At times this may allow me to receive specific health information during the reiki process. 

Although you are only paying for a reiki session, I will not hold back any valuable information, IF I receive it. Please know I keep all personal knowledge about you in the strictness confidence.

What Can I Expect During and After a Session?

Some people who receive reiki report becoming extremely relaxed, energized or feel nothing at all.  If you feel a need to rest afterward, this is normal.  You body may be healing new and old injuries or illnesses, and as with the recovery of any illness, your body may require extra sleep so that it can regenerate.  If you experience any changes in your condition, please take up it with your medical professional.

 

What Else Do I Need to Know Before Requesting Reiki?

By purchasing this service, you agree for your energetic body to accept reiki.  Please do not purchase this service for others.  I can only provide reiki services to the person directly requesting it. 

Reiki can be done at anytime, however some like to receive reiki when they are at rest.  If you have a specific time and day you would like to receive reiki, please let me know when paying.  Include your time zone. 

I do not need to know anything about you or any present or past conditions. The energy will go where it is needed. 

Your well-being is important to me and feedback is appreciated.  Feel free to contact me privately at any time before, during or after any session to let me know how you are doing!  Questions are also welcome.
